Kellogg’s Response Letter!
January 13, 2011
Your products are 100% waste, thanks for clarifying Kellogg. Also, read the letter I wrote to them and their response — I did not talk about pre-consumer waste at all or refute the fact that it existed. Seems like they just needed to write a letter defending their “corporate responsibility” and not address any of my questions.
What do you guys think? Should I write them back? I think I will!

Wow, so not only did they blow you off, but they also admitted to being 100% wasteful? Not responding would have left a better impression on their company than whatever this letter attempted to do. Well since they took the time to BS this letter together for you, I say write them back.
I can believe how unprofessional their response was! What else is Kellogg doing that we’ve “never heard of something [but] doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist”? I’m seriously not buying their products anymore!
[edit] can’t believe how unprofessional their response was!
That is a canned reponse. They have some customer service rep read your letter. Then they select a pre-approved letter response from the company. They just fill in you address and name information and have a generated letter sent out to you. The person who read the letter probably didn’t know what you were talking about. Instead they just sent out a letter that was a close match (in their opinion) to what you said.
